In this verbal documentation from the employees of the Elbe Workshops Hamburg.
Our opinion about the word disability.
Elisabeth says, "Another word for disability is problem children." Manuela says,
"These words are devaluations. What do we mean by this word? " Klaus asks,
"Is it true that disabled people cannot learn?"
Christel says, "Poor students do not exist. The blind learn Braille. Deaf persons learn to sign. Wheelchair users learn to be mobile in a wheelchair.
The more difficult the conditions are, the more respect we bring to people."
Manuela says: "If only all human beings would do that".
